- When it is going to rain you will see "suckers" from the sun and it would look very watery looking and cloudy.
When you see a circle around the moon or when it is clouded or the stars muddy or rolling in the sky then it is sign that there is going to be rain or a storm.
If you see the cattle or sheep eating quickly in the morning you are sure of rain. Another sign of rain is when the crows alight on wires or rails or bridges in clusters or if the cat is lying near the fire or the dog eating grass or the curlews shouting we know it is going to rain.
