    The Pound road gets its name from a village pound. It was an old road from Ballinalee to Granard. The Wood road gets its name from Kilshrewly wood. It is part of the main road from Longford to Cavan.
    The Church road leads past St John's Church to Edgeworthstown.
    The Bog road leads through lower Soran bog. It was made as relief work during the famine time.
    It is part of the main road from Cavan to Longford.
