  1. Long ago there used to be a lot of Severe weather including Snow, Rain, Hail, wind, and Frost. People died with cold in those days. There used to be a lot of floods long ago. There are floods every year yet in my townland. 1924 was a very severe year in this townland. All the turf were flooded.
    People used to eat pancakes for breakfast dinner & tea because the fires were too bad to bake bread.
