- Once there lived three giants in Cornawn Bawn. One day they were very hungry. One of them went out with a sack to get somethings to eat. He came to a field where three children were playing. He put them into his sack and went for home. On his way he saw a wild pig and he left down his sack to follow the pig. While he was away the children got out of the sack. They put big stones into it. The giant came back without the sack pig and he took the sack and started off. The other two giants had a big pot of water boiling and they were sitting beside the fire. The giant came in and emptied the sack into pot. The stones broke the pot and the water scalded the three to death. There are three big stones over their graves beside Cornawn Bawn.
