  1. I live in the townland of Lettergullion. It's a large townland and stretches from the top of Gaigue Hill (600.ft) down to the main Drumlish - Arva road at Bandra Bridge
    Part of this townland is called Bandra. The land is hilly and wet and of a poor quality. There are twenty one families in Lettergullion. There are five vacant houses to be seen and the remains of others. The houses are mostly one storeyed thatched houses. About a hundred people live in Lettergullion. The most common name is Reilly and after that the most common names are Corrigan, McQuaide, Whelan, Gelshinan and McGee. Gunner McGee of '98 fame belonged to this townland. The name of
