  1. Long ago there were many old travellers around here, and there are some yet. The most common of these today are the O'Learys and the McCawleys. These people are very honest and fair and they are liked very well around here. Mr. O'Leary is a sweep and Mr. McCawley mends pots, cans, and other broken things. The O'Learys come from Clonmorris a place in the South of Ireland and the McCawleys are from Leitrim.
    The McDonaghs, the Nevens, and the MacCormacks, come and stay for a month or two. Those people attend every fair and they sell horses, asses, cans, tables, lace and many other things. Some of these people are very rich while more of them are very poor. Some of these are
