  1. The farm animals that I have at home are cows, pigs, calves, bullock, goats, asses, and a sow. The name's of the cows are little Betty, Nanny Murray, and Dollie. When people are driving cows they say how, how. In the cow house there is a manger to put hay or straw in for the cows to eat. It is called a byre. The cows are tied to a stake. There is a chain tied around the cows neck, and then the chain is tied to the stake. If the cows are thieving through fields there is a chain tied from the cows leg to her horn. There is also a heavy piece of wood called a log tied around the cows neck. The tyings
