  1. Once upon a time there lived a blacksmith named Billy Mooney. One day he was in his forge when a little man came in to get an axe pointed. When the point was put one the axe, the little man wanted to give Billy money, but he would not (give) take any. The little man was very thankful to get the job done, so he said when he would not take money he would give him three wishes. Billy wished that (1) Anyone who would take his sledge would not leave it down until he would tell them.
    (2) Anyone who would sit down in his armchair which was in the forge, would not get up of it until he would (take it out) tell them. (3) Anything he would put in his purse would not come out of it until he would take it out.
One day the devil came into the forge to billy, and asked Billy would he come with him, and Billy asked him.
