Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are four graveyards in this parish, one at Tashinny another at Togshined and one at Abbeyshrule and one at Abbeyderg. The graveyard at Abbeyshrule is oval shaped on a sandy hill overlooking the Inny river. There are some beautiful Celtic crosses and a very old tomb-stone one hundred and seventy years old over a Bishop Brady's grave. He lived at Knocka. The old house is now in ruins and the property is owned by James Kenny of Antly. There is a well or font on the tomb-stone over the grave. To drop a pin into it and to say some prayers is known to have cured diseases It is said there is a cave under the graveyard where the monks hid their treasures and a tunnel leads from it the
