Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Many years ago a Father Yorke was C.C. in Legan. He was noted for his extreme piety and spiritual gifts and many people in trouble sought his blessing. At that time a bigoted Protestant family named Simson had a corn mill at the side of the Inny river. To cope with a large trade they got in new machinery and in derision to Fr. Yorke they sent a messenger to him to come and set the mill going. Fr. Yorke told the messenger the mill might go fast enough without his aid. They set the mill going it began to go fast, they cut off the water power but it went faster. They tried every means but could not stop it until it flew in bits through the place. The ruins may still be seen on the side of the Inny.
    Some time late Fr. Yorke was passing along the road between the ruined mill and
