    In a place called Irishtown a man named John Lyons was digging in his garden and he found a collar of gold but a little piece was broken off.

    In a place called Irishtown a man named John Lyons was digging in his garden and he found a collar of gold but a little piece was broken off. He sold it to a man in Mullingar for its weight in gold sovereigns. The man hen sent it to the museum in Dublin where it is now. It was found about ten years ago.
