The boys of this area go barefooted in the summer, but they wear boots in the winter. It is the custom for people to wash their feet every Saturday night. It is said that if you were washing your feet, and if another person wanted to wash their feet as well, there would be a fight to see who would throw out the water. The people of this district wore clogs long ago but nowadays they do not wear them. Boots are not made in this district but they are repaired. There is one shoemaker in this district.
