    There is a fort in Mr Kelly's field called callinban. Several people believe that the fairy is to be seen yet dressed in white. It was believed long ago that if a person cut a lone tree he would have bad luck always. But I have heard of plenty of people that cut down lone trees and nothing happened. Plenty of men plough in lands where there are forts and nothing happened them. Allthough the people long ago believed some bad luck would happen. Bad luck befell a man by the name of Cristy Dalton Rathnugent for cutting down a tree in a fort about three years ago. All his lambs died the next year.
