The shamrock is the National Emblem of Ireland. It is worn by all Catholics on St. Patrick's day at home and in foreign lands. It grows only in Ireland. It is a small green herb with three green leaves Men wear it in their hats or in buttonholes on St Patrick's Day. They do not keep it after the day is over. Holy Water
