  1. Long ago some people used to eat potatoes three times a day for breakfast, dinner, and supper. Some people were very very glad if they had butter milk or thick milk to drink with the potatoes.
    Others used to eat porridge and oaten bread. Others used to drink red tea.
    It is not so long ago since cups were made at first. Before cups were made people used noggins. These noggins were in the shape of a mug made of wood. There are two little hoops on it.
