Another Matt Bradley used Comfrey and Bagloss in Beef suet for cuts and wounds. The poultices recommended by the Doctors were Bran and Turnips.
- Top pegging was the principal amusement and the greater part of fine Summer evenings and Sundays were spent at this. A local handy man made the top from the butts of old crab-trees, also horse-hair snares(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
