    Heavy Snow - Storms
    A few years ago there was a very heavy snow storm in this district.
    The atmosphere got very low and mild and red veins was scattered through the sky.
    Then the snow commenced to fall in large soft flakes, then they became hard and small.
    When snow drifts occured all the snow was swept off the highlands into the hollow, so the hills were base in a very short time so the hollows took much longer time to become bare.
    The roads were blocked, and great was the destruction that was done throughout the country.
    In many places flocks of sheep that were seeking shelter in hollows were covered with snow, and were dead before they
