They had whenever required to give their services free. If they improved their land by drainage the rent was raised or the land was taken from them and given to some friend of the agent. Cooke of Cookesboro evicted a family named Carroll on a cold snowy day. He leveled the house and gave their farm to a family called(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
