- About a quarter of a mile from my home there is a brick building called a "Snow House." It is built from bricks and the walls and roof are made from the same material. A long narrow archway leads to the entrance which is partly under ground. It gets its name from "Snow House" as it was used by the Reynella family for keeping and preserving ice. It is there for a number of years, during the war it was a secret hiding place for guns and ammunition. No use is made of it now.
