- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)1933 was very heavy. On some parts of the road there were drifts more than ten feet deed. There was a number of sheep and lambs lost in drifts. The roads were packed with snow and so it was impossible for any one to travel.
- There was a big storm in 1903. It was on the twenty-sixth of February. There were two woods in Clonyn knocked and after the storm there were only two or three trees to be seen staning.
