  1. Tradition said there is a mermaid in Lough Ban in the shape of a white house. She was seen a couple of times. Joe Cullen who is now dead saw it, when he was running away and he fainted.

    About 15 years ago there was a Leiphreachan see in glaskstown bog. The men were cutting turf and they ran away when they saw him, and when they came back the clamps of turf were all knooked
