- Cure of The Chin Cough or as it usually called The Whooping Cough.Ferret's Milk: Go to someone who keeps a ferret. The ferret is given a large saucerful of milk. When it has satisfied itself drinking the remainder or 'leavings' is given to the sick child. Improvement is noticable immediately afterwards and the sufferer rapidly recovers.During an epidemic of whooping cough which occurred here last summer (1938) cures were as think as 'leaves in Vallambrosa'.
