so called. The water from this well cures sore eyes, toothache and sprains.
St Bridget's well is on the top of a very high hill covered with a large flat stone and on the first day of February the feast of St Bridget people visit the well and bring home bottles of water. The rose well is also near my home and the water from it cures a disease known as the Rose. If a male person wants the cure a female has to procure the water, and if a female wants it a male person must obtain the water for her and I heard of many people being cured by the power of this water.
