- The local fairs are held in Oldcastle. They are held in the fair green beside the town. The green is surrouned by big high walls. Later in the day the buying and selling is done in the streets.
Sometimes buyers come to farmer's houses and buy cattle, sheep and lambs. It was done long ago too.
