The owner of the land began to dig down but found no water. Instead he found a large stone and tracks of horses shoes on it.
It is said there is a cave going form this hill to Oldcastle and that it was used in olden times. - Treasure is supposed to be hidden in the old ruins of a house in Cormeen, Moynalty, Co Meath called "Bumpers Hall". The house got this name because a landlord named Wisenroe lived in it long ago. When the tenants were paying him rent he used always to give them a bumper or large(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
