    The whitlow is a very common disease among the people. It appears on the finger. Mrs Peter Rogers Hermitage, Moynalty, Kells, Co. Meath has the cure of it. She cures it with the herbs of the earth.
    Father and of son and of the holy ghost amen. This is done with nine of the stones, the tenth is thrown away. This is performed for them and then the person is cured.
