  1. There was a man in Drewstown who had the cure for kidney trouble. He would get herbs called "Early Spring" and "Cranes bill". He would boil them and mix them with new milk and then give the drink to the complaining person. This is a reliable cure.

    A woman in Drewstown had the cure of Rhematism. She had an herb growing in her garden called "March Mallows". She would roast it and mix it with lard until it was in an ointment.
