Ar an leathanach seo
- There is a little stream on the Kells road about half-a-mile outside Navan and it is called the blind man's stream. It was called this name after a blind man who when coming home from the town of Navan used to sit and rest at this little stream and so gave its name.
- There is an old ruined castle between Slane and Beau Parc on the left hand side of the River Boyne called Carrick Dexter. It is said to have been built by one of the Flemings. A very small portion of it has fallen but there are no dates to be seen on the walls of it. There is a spiral stairs leading up to the top of the building. Its height is roughly about 60 ft.
