of gold and a life must be lost and given to the demon before the one who dreamt can dig for the treasure.
Once a man, about twenty-five years of age dreamt three nights in succession of the pot of gold and told some of his companions about it. They decided to go, on the following night, and search for the gold.Next night, however, they set out with shovels and spades and a large black cat as an offering for the demon. As they neared the place of the buried gold it grew very dark. The gold hunters got frightened and one of them being scratched by the black cat let it go and he and the rest ran for their lives.
No one ever dreamt of, or went in search of the pot of gold since. There is not much heard of it now because the people think they are wise not to believe in such superstitious notions.
