Some people keep a blessed candle in the house. When a cow would calve they would light the candle and one person would pass it out under the cow to another person. they say the cow will give more milk after doing this.
There are some wells which are connected with some Saint. Every year on the feast of the Saint the people of that district go to the well and get water(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
