- There was a very big snow fall on the twenty eight of February nineteen thirty two. It lasted for two days and two nights. It drifted in some places to a height of twelve and fourteen feet. A great deal of people died with the hunger, horses sheep and cattle were killed lost in the snow. It was the greatest snowfall that ever I heard of. Some people who ventured out in the snow to get provisions were lost and never returned. The snowflakes fell very thick. No traffic could travel with the snow.
