Weatherlore
When the sky appears a copper colour after sunset it is a sign of rain the following day. If the sky appears red in the West after sunset and if the red spreads over the sky to the East it is a sign of wind. If the sun sets in a good clear sky and the brightness extends back from the sun to the North or South you may expect fine weather. When the wind comes from the East and is very cold and biting and afterwards gets calm it is a sign of snow. When the wind comes from the North with a clear sky and not many stars
