- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)accompained by the tit-lark. In Spring the cuckoo turns traitor to the tit-lark. She lays her egg in the tit-lark's nest which is in the meadow. the tit-lark hatches her own eggs and the cuckoo's egg also. When the birds are hatched out, the old cuckoo comes back and throws the young tit-larks out of the nest. She then minds the young cuckoo.
