Ar an leathanach seo
- Get half a can of ground oats and put it into half a can of water and leave it there for three or four days. Then take it out and strain through a cloth bag. Next boil the water that was strained and it gets thick like stir about; put on plates with new milk and eat it.
- Get "Yeast" and mix it up on flour and wheaten-meal. Leave a hole in it until it rises. Then break a bit, mix it up and make a hole in the middle and bake it. This will make a big cake. Then break a bit off it and so on. You could make cakes for years without making any more new ones. It is a very wholesome bread.
- Long ago the old people used to be treated ever so much better than now. The old people were twice as decent clean and humble. They would get lodgings and leave them nice and clean. They would get(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
