    This is a cure for a sty. Go to some women that has a pure gold wedding ring and her to make the sign of the cross with the ring over the eye that has the sty on it. The sty will disappear.
    The following is a cure for corns. Get a handful of ivyleaves and rub the corns well with them. After a few days the corn will go.

    The cure for a pain in the back is to creep under a big stone or under briars.
    The cure for the sting of a nettle is to rub a dock-leaf to it and it gets better.
    The cure for the mumps is to soak a cloth in salt water and tie it around your chin.
