About 60 years ago an old woman named "Biddy Sheridan lived alone in one of the little thatched houses on the land of Ballinlough mentioned on another page.
She had a most peculiar fashion when making tea of putting a few coppers in the teapot.
No one ever knew why she did this and whats more, no one ever ventured to question her about her strange and dangerous habit.
