    There was a great musician living in this part of the country long ago named Stevenson.
    I heard my grandfather (Mr P Collins) say that his remains are with those of the Lambert Family in their vault under Painestown Church.

    There is an ancient old tree near Knockcommon Church yard which is of great age.
    It was the custom long ago at a funeral to carry the corpse around the tree three times before laying it to rest.
    One day Mr. Osbourne riding on his horse was passing by the (three) tree, when his horse....
