There is a field called the Poll Mór, two fields from my home.

I heard my grandfather say that some of the men coming from the battle of Tara threw their pikes into the hole of water from which the field derives its name.Two fields from the Poll Mór there is a place called Tobar Fianáin.There was a well there in old times and there is a spring in the spot still.
