An old story connected with the Holy Family is told as follows:- Once when the Holy family were journeying in the Holy Land it so happened that nightfall came suddenly upon them, and they knew not where to go for the night. At last they reached a house where lived a man and woman. The woman was a very kind pious woman but the man was selfish and stubborn.
    The Holy Family sought lodging in this house and the kind woman granted them so. The selfish man however refused to allow them even into a stable for the night. The poor woman was very soory to have to turn them away from the door, as she liked the Little Child Jesus from the very first moment she saw Him at the same time not knowing it was Our Lord Himself. The Blessed Virgin then turning round spoke to them saying :- "Kind woman stubborn man and Our Lord is the shore," as The Holy
