  1. One day when St. Patrick was on his way to Tara he sat down to rest. It was on Holy Sunday in the year 433. There was a stone beside him, so he got up on it to pray. He prayed so long that when he was done praying the marks of his knees and his staff were on the stone. At that time there were houses being built beside the stone. They moved the stone to the other side of the road. Next morning when they came back
