Ar an leathanach seo
- On St. Brigid's day it is customry to make the St. Brigids Cross. The cross is hung in the house and stables. It is supposed to keep away sickness.
On St., Patricks Day the men and boys wear shamrock the women and girls wear green ribbons.
On Good Friday we eat hot cross.
On Ash Wednesday we make the sign of the cross on our fourhead with holy ashes. To remind us that we will return to ashes.
On Easter Sunday it is a custom to eat as many eggs as we can get. And the children eat chocolate Easter eggs.
On Assumption Day it is a custom to go to Lady Well and to bring home some of the water. The water is supposed to be a cure for sickness.
On Shrove Tuesday we eat pancakes.
On May Day the girls decorate may bush with flours and ribbons. Some people put primroses(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
