    One of the most noted of hedge schools of this district, was at Mosseycorn in Strinagh, on the brow of the hill overlooking Reilly's cottage.
    The teachers name was Bunker. The pupils made their pens out of goose quills, and their ink, which was the juice of alder berries, was in a bottle hung on to a button on their coats.
    The teacher taught the pupils French, Latin and Irish, and the pupils paid the teacher a penny a day along with some eggs.
    A grandson of that teacher now lives over on the Kell's Rd, in a place called Ballabruna, his name is
