  1. Old Houses
    The houses long ago were all thatched and the old people used to call them mud-wall cabins.
    Some of the people used to get rushes and thatch their houses.
    The people long ago had always glass in the windows.
    Some people used to put up half doors to keep the hens our and some people used to put up half doors to keep the children off the road.
    The floors long ago were made from yellow clay that they would get in the bogs.
