    My home townland is Louth Hall.
    There are twentyseven families and about 97 people altogether in it.
    The names most common are Mc Eneaneys.
    There are no thatched houses they are all slated.
    Louth Hall got it's name from Lord Louth.
    There are about four people over seventy years in it. They do not know Irish but they can tell stories in English.
    The houses were not different to what they are now. The people used to go to America and else where long ago.
    The townland is not mentioned in any old songs or stories.
    Some of the land is hilly and some of it is boggy.
    There is a lot of plantations in Louth Hall and they are very large.
    There is a lot of wood growing in it.
    There are some lakes and streams also. There is a big castle in Louth Hall and the owner of it is Lord Louth.
    The ponds are very large and deep. The lands are good fro crops.
    There is no ruins of old houses in the townland. The timber growing in the plantations are beech, ash
