  1. Long ago the bell used to ring in Crossmaglen at night and no one used to ring it.
One night a man was in the Church in Crossmaglen and the doors were closed while he slept. In the middle of the night a priest came out to say Mass and he wanted some one to serve Mass. He got the Cannon to serve Mass and the priest's robes touched the man's face and he got caner in the face and it killed him.
The priest who was saying Mass was dead and the Cannon was alive. The man attended Mass at the altar rails.
