A poultice of boiled salt is a cure for a sore throat. The way is to boil the salt and put it in a piece of cloth to form a kind of a poultice. This is put on the neck of the sufferer and is supposed to cure him or her.
Juice of a potato is supposed to be a cure for warts. Method is to cut the potato and rub it on the warts.
