- Once upon a time in the townland of Knappa not far from Shercock in the County Cavan two men wee making mud in a bog one day.
Their names were Larry Traynor and his son Larry. Larry's little daughter Annie was running about through the bog and suddenly she found something under her foot.
She stooped down and pulled up a gold chain.
Her father was in town that evening and showed it to the watchmaker. The watchmaker said he would be in Dublin the next day and he would take it with him. He got thirty two pounds for it.
