- There is a place called Leact down a piece from Kiltenane graveyard and St. Sinon used say mass every day there long ago and the mass was printed on the stones of the Leact. One day a bell fell from heaven to St. Sinon and it was hid below near Martin King's house from the Protestants and six silver candles sticks fell with the bell from heaven.
The bell was found afterwards near King's house and was brought to Dublin and the cover of the bell is still in Dublin. All around St. Sinon's Parish there are blue flowers growing and they are shaped like a thimble and if you took a root of them it would not grow any place but all around St. Sinon's parish. It is said that when a person named Sinon dies outside in Scattery Island at the present day. St. Sinon comes there in the wake dressed up as a stranger and the men do not see him but the women do
