  1. There are many wells around this district, St. Joseph's well, St. Bridget's well and St. Craven's well.
    St. Bridget's well is situated between Liscannor and the Cliffs of Moher. It is above the ruins of O'Brien's of Birchfield. It is said that a woman of the O'Briens family used the water from the well for washing potatoes and the next day it moved up farther.
