    Old Roads .
    There are many old roads in Ennistymon which the people made long ago.Some of the old roads are Killcronan and the path of the mountain.Killcronam is called after a priest that was killed there.His name was Corneilus and he was murdered saying Mass.there is a cairn there and a priest's fingerprints on the rocks.During the time of the Black and Tans a boy named John Connole was murdered .he was brought out of his house and shot.They burned his house and they him into the flames.There is a rock on the other side with blood stains on it.
